Feel and Name That Emotion

We all experience many different kinds of feelings and emotions throughout the course of the day, it’s a natural phenomenon, but it is how we digest those emotions that will create an unhealthy or healthy outcome.

So, what are you thinking about right now, and how is it making you feel in this present moment?

Can you name that feeling/emotion?

Do you know where that thought came from which has produce this current feeling?

Do you understand why you are feeling a particular  emotion from that thought?

Is it a negative emotion or a positive emotion?

Does that thought and emotion make you want to react or does it allow you to respond before you create some kind of action?

What is the intention for creating such an action?

Will that reaction or response bring on more negative or more positive emotions or feelings?

What I know for sure is that in order for a healthy outcome to occur during the ups and downs of our daily emotions we must be able to feel and name each emotion.

It is from that space of awareness we begin to discover and understand what triggers our emotions, and then we can find the best possible solution towards a healthy state of being.

In my book, Yes Speak To Our Hearts, Holy Spirit – Through Our Daily Practice of Listening, Recognizing, and Using Your Unlimited Gifts and Power I share on page 79, how I came into the awareness of my emotions on one particular day, and how I was able to feel and name that emotion associated with having an overworked mental thing.

Take a read now then feel and name your emotion, so you too can maintain or come back to your peaceful state of being.
